Ruben Hein - Oceans (Indie-Only transparent vinyl)

Ruben Hein focuses on nature conservation with special new project and tour 'OCEANS'. With this project he reconciles his two greatest loves: music and nature.

At the beginning of 2020, just before the pandemic breaks out, Ruben finds himself on a boat in the South Pole, surrounded by endless sea ice, penguin colonies, whales and abandoned settlements. During this Artist In Residency, he records the first ideas for his new project in a mini-studio in his cabin on the ship.

With this project, Ruben puts his money where his mouth is by working together with Natuurmonumenten, whereby a tree will be planted for every album sold. Eventually, this will result in a new forest to compensate CO2 emissions.
